Background

Status: Approved
Date Posted: Aug 12, 2010
Sponsor: DeAnn Walker on behalf of CenterPoint Energy
Urgent: Yes
Sections: 9.2.3
Description: This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) proposes revisions to remove the requirement for ERCOT to produce several reports related to Outage Scheduling from the current Nodal Operating Guide and proposes inserting those requirements as grey-box language until such time ERCOT Systems can be changed to include only the Transmission Service Provider's (TSP's) Outages in the reports.
Reason: With the proposed changes in NPRR219, a TSP will be held accountable for Outage reporting that is completely outside of the TSP's control. In other words, a TSP will be required by the Nodal Protocols to enter Outages into the Outage Scheduler for Resource Entities and Private Use Networks and the TSP will be held accountable under the reports in the Nodal Operating Guide for the information being submitted based on the needs of the Resource Entities and Private Use Networks.
