ERCOT is modernizing how Market Participants interact with and access ERCOT systems through two connected programs.
- Market Participant Service Portal (MPSP) adds a service management platform to the Market Information System (MIS). It replaces manual, email-based interactions with a secure online portal, starting with a selected set of use cases in Q1 2027 and expanding through future phases.
- Future-Ready Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program replaces Digital Certificate-based access to the MIS, including the MPSP, with a modern identity platform using username, password, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
