Background

Status: Approved
Date Posted: Sep 13, 2010
Sponsor: ERCOT
Urgent: No
Sections: 11.4.3, 11.4.3.1
Description: This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) aligns the Nodal Protocols with zonal Protocols by adding language that limits the applicability of the weather responsiveness test to Interval Data Recorder (IDR) Meters.
Reason: The reason for this revision is to synch the Nodal Protocols with the zonal Protocols. Zonal Protocols were revised to eliminate the weather responsiveness test on Electric Service Identifiers (ESI IDs) with Advanced Meters. Performing the weather responsiveness test on Advanced Meters has a significant impact on ERCOT System processing times.
