Description: This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) increases the Wind-powered Generation Resource (WGR) ramp rate limitation from 10% per minute of nameplate rating to a five minute average of 20% per minute of nameplate rating with no individual minute exceeding 25%..
Reason: This revision allows WGRs to be fully dispatched on or fully curtailed off in one Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) dispatch interval. This would allow for a more efficient dispatch of Resources and more precise curtailment instructions to WGRs.
