| Description: | This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) changes the minimum advance notification for a coordinated reactive capability test of a Generation Resource from 48 hours prior, to 1700 the day prior to the day of the test. |
| Reason: | As a result of Nodal Market implementation, it is more difficult for a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) to know Resource commitments prior to receipt of Day Ahead Market (DAM) awards. Decreasing the minimum notification time for reactive testing will allow ERCOT Operations, the QSE, and the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) to make a decision based on the final and most accurate plans for the Operating Period. |
