| Description: | This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) will remove the December 1, 2013 deadline for reconsideration of the Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction Revenue Distribution (CARD) method and allow the current methodology to become permanent. |
| Reason: | The current method for distributing inter-zonal and intra-zonal CRR Auction revenues is set to expire on December 1, 2013. In October 2012, ERCOT brought this expiration issue and potential policy discussion forward at TAC. In subsequent discussions at TAC and WMS there have been no alternative method offered. In the interest of timely resolution, ERCOT offers this NPRR to make the three-year transitional methodology permanent for distribution of CRR Auction revenue. |
