Background

Status: Approved
Date Posted: Oct 28, 2010
Sponsor: ERCOT
Urgent: No
Sections: 21.4.3, 21.8.3
Description: This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) reduces the comment period for NPRRs and System Change Requests (SCRs) from 21 days to 14 days and removes the requirement for the comment period to end at least three Business Days prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the subcommittee considering the NPRR or SCR.
Reason: As a result of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) structural and process review, TAC requested ERCOT staff to draft an NPRR to reduce the comment period for NPRRs to 14 days. Since SCRs have a similar initial comment period, proposed revisions to their process are included in this NPRR as well.
