Description:
The Market Operations Test Environment will enable interface and business testing for the market. This system change will allow both ERCOT and Market Participants to run simulations concurrently.
Reason:
Market Participants need an environment to test XML / Portal submissions, responses, and notifications. Current testing is performed on a limited basis covering QSE qualifications, QSE system change testing, and the testing of ERCOT system enhancements. The current test environment is limited to one user at a time, significantly impacting both ERCOT and Market Participants™ ability to adequately test market environments.
