Gordon Drake is the Director of Market Design & Analysis at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and host of the ERCOT PowerCast podcast. As Director, Gordon leads a team of professionals central to Texas' electricity market, analyzing market outcomes and spearheading market change initiatives in collaboration with market participants and other key stakeholders.

Gordon's electricity industry experience spans more than two decades in both private and public sectors across North America, covering areas such as system operations, wholesale market design, public policy, technology innovation, and business strategy.
