Critical Infrastructure Protection Working Group

The ERCOT Critical Infrastructure Working Group (CIPWG) serves as a vehicle to facilitate and enable ERCOT entities to secure their critical assets, achieve compliance with relevant security standards, and maintain their compliance. The CIPWG will likewise apprise members of the ERCOT Reliability and Operations Subcommittee (ROS) on matters being considered by NERC CIPC or CIP standards approved by FERC which require regional action.

ERCOT CIPWG meetings will include both open and closed sessions. Participation in open sessions is not limited to particular types of individuals. Closed sessions are limited to particular types of individuals who must sign the appropriate ERCOT Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), and receive approval from ERCOT. Contact ERCOT Legal at nda@ercot.com to ask questions or obtain a copy of the ERCOT NDA.
