For this two-day workshop, ERCOT Settlements has prepared illustrative examples of the nodal settlement formulas using realistic but mocked-up data (find these examples in "Supporting Documents" in Commercial Systems). The goal of the workshop is increase our knowledge of nodal market design; familiarize ourselves with the innerworkings of the nodal settlement formulas; and prepare for test validation. The examples also present an opportunity for knowledge-sharing between ERCOT and market participants.

Description of examples: A Mini-Market has been created that contains a pool of mock data intended solely for purposes of demonstrating settlement examples. The Mini-Market includes a simple network model and mock qualified scheduling entities, resources, resource parameters and settlement input data. The examples are meant to be as simple as possible while still covering the main concepts.
