4. OGRRs and NOGRRs for review and language changes:

  • 236OGRR Fast Response Distributed Energy Resource (DER).  This Operating Guide Revision Request (OGRR) allows for participation of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) in Responsive Reserve Service (RRS) on an equivalent basis with synchronous condenser fast-response hydro. [Enchanted Rock]
  • 238OGRR WGR Primary Frequency Response.  The revision includes: new procedures for testing Wind-powered Generation Resource (WGR) Primary Frequency Response (new section 6.2.1.7); a new definition that applies testing of WGRs to the aggregation of all WGRs at a site; some clarifying wording for all generator’s Primary Frequency Response design requirements (2.2.5, Turbine Speed Governors); and a general change of governor to Governor in recognition of the fact that Governor is now a defined term in the protocols. [Wind Coalition]
  • 027NOGRR Revise the Process for Submitting Biennial Unit Reactive Limits (Lead and Lag).  This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) deletes Attachment E, Biennial Unit Reactive Limits (Lead and Lag) Verification in Section 8.  Attachment E is no longer used as test results are submitted through the Market Information System (MIS) Certified Area.  This NOGRR also updates other sections to align with the current process. [LCRA]
  • 232OGRR Revise the Process for Submitting Biennial Unit Reactive Limits (Lead and Lag).  This Operating Guide Revision Request (OGRR) deletes Section 6.2.3. The form within that Section is no longer used as results are submitted through the MIS.  This OGRR also updates other sections to align with the current process. [LCRA]
  • 032NOGRR Use of Consistent Rating Terminology.  This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) proposes language changes to align rating terminology in the Nodal Operating Guides with the terminology in the Nodal Protocols.  Utilization of the same verbiage helps alleviate communication issues and also removes the possible interpretation of additional rating requirements. [NDSWG]
  • 033NOGRR Alignment with NPRR203, Amend Telemetry Bus Accuracy Requirements.  This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) aligns the Nodal Operating Guides with changes proposed by Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 203, Amend Telemetry Bus Accuracy Requirements, which clarifies the type of equipment being reported. [NDSWG]
  • 034NOGRR Rescind Telemetry Performance Calculation Exclusions.  This Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) proposes the removal of language which allows Market Participants to, at their discretion, have any of their Telemetry Performance data excluded from the periodic calculations in the Telemetry Performance Monitoring Program.
