This information session is intended for new Resource Entities (REs) subject to the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Weather Emergency Preparedness Rule, 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC)  §25.55, and personnel at existing REs with new responsibilities for weatherization. This information session provides REs with an overview of ERCOT's Weatherization and Inspection (W&I) program, including compliance requirements under PUCT Rule 16 TAC §25.55, the use of the W&I Market Participant Portal, the process for submitting a Declaration of Weather Preparedness, best practices for preparing for a weatherization inspection, what to expect during and after an inspection, and how compliance deficiencies are addressed.
