SHORT DESCRIPTION: Dashboards affected by end of Daylight Saving Time (DST) October 31 - November 2, 2026

DAYS AFFECTED: October 31 - November 2, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: Some of ERCOT's informational dashboards on the Grid and Market Conditions page of ERCOT.com will be affected by the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST) occurring on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

An extra hour (indicated as 01*) will appear on the x-axis of many of the dashboards on Sunday, November 1, to indicate the additional hour of time gained by the DST change.

The presentation of the following dashboards may be distorted during the early hours of Sunday, November 1:

Supply and Demand: The downloaded CSV files display Hour Ending 02 as Hour Ending 01. The 6-Day Forecast does not include the extra hour for the DST day in the forecasted data.
Ancillary Services: The presentation may be distorted during the 2-hour window and will correct itself afterward.
System-Wide Prices and DC Tie Flows: The presentation may be distorted for the entire day.
Combined Wind and Solar: Wind and Solar values are null during the extra-hour transition.
Generation Outages: The graph does not display the 5-minute intervals for the regular Hour Ending 01.
Real-Time Market Clearing Prices for Capacity, Capacity Available to SCED, and System Ancillary Service Capacity Monitor: The dashboards do not update for the repeated hour.

Day-Ahead values provided on Saturday, October 31 may be affected.

Previous Day values provided on Monday, November 2 may be affected.

ACTION REQUIRED: Users should be aware of possible errors on these dashboards from Saturday, October 31 through Monday, November 2.
