SHORT DESCRIPTION: DocuSign Envelopes for Nodal Operating Guide (NOG) Data Pursuant to NOG Revision Request (NOGRR) 245 Extension and Exemption Requests

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Resource Entities (REs) and Interconnecting Entities (IEs) with transmission-connected Inverter Based Resources (IBRs), Type 1 Wind-Powered Generation Resources (WGRs), or Type 2 WGRs commissioned or in the interconnection process that submitted extension requests or a notice of intent to request an exemption.

DAYS AFFECTED: September 15, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: To assist Market Participants that, in April 2025, requested an extension and/or submitted a notice of intent to request an exemption for certain ride-through requirements implemented through NOGRR245, ERCOT is sending a DocuSign envelope to allow those Market Participants to provide updated information on or before September 15, 2025. For more information, please refer to Market Notice M-A010825-07 (dated 8/12/25).

In an attempt to assist REs/IEs in meeting the NOG requirements, ERCOT used its best efforts to identify all Resources and projects that submitted the required information on or before April 15, 2025. However, regardless of whether you receive a DocuSign email, REs/IEs that requested an extension or submitted a notice of intent to request an exemption in April must submit the required corrected/supplemental information to ERCOT on or before September 15, 2025. If you have trouble submitting the required information, please send an email to NOGRR245@ercot.com.

ACTION REQUIRED: By 17:00 Central Prevailing Time on September 15, 2025, the RE/IE for any Resource that requested an extension or submitted a notice of intent to request an exemption in April must provide all the information required in the DocuSign envelope and, if requesting an exemption from any ride-through requirement, attach an Exemption Request Form (found in the "Guides" section of the ERCOT Resource Integration public web page).

Prior to submitting the DocuSign envelope, the RE/IE must also submit the models required in NOG Sections 2.11.1(1)(l) and 2.11.2(1)(l) via ERCOT's Resource Integration and Ongoing Operations (RIOO) system with a notation "NOGRR245 Model." The RE/IE must include the RIOO Change Request number in the DocuSign envelope section referring to the requirement to submit models.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: REs/IEs must submit all models required in the ERCOT Planning Guide and Dynamics Working Group (DWG) Procedure Manual. Please note that, pursuant to Section 3.1.2 of the DWG Procedure Manual, PSCAD models must be submitted to ERCOT for all IBRs and WGRs installed on or after January 2015; for equipment installed before 2015 PSCAD models must be submitted to ERCOT upon request.
