SHORT DESCRIPTION: Rejection Notice for the Horse Hollow Generation Tie RAS Modification

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: July 24, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT reviewed Nextera 's proposal to modify the existing Horse Hollow Generation Tie (HHGT) Remedial Action Scheme (RAS), and considered all Market Participant comments that were submitted to ERCOT. After multiple meetings with affected entities and extensions to ERCOT's review period which were approved by affected entities, ERCOT determined that the proposed RAS modification does not improve the targeted reliability issue. As a result, ERCOT is rejecting the proposal to modify the HHGT RAS, and existing Horse Hollow Generation Tie (HHGT) Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) will remain same without the modification.
