SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update - Retail Release - June 2022

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: MarkeTrak Issue Resolution Application: June 4, 2022 14:00 - June 6, 2022 00:00; Additional ERCOT Systems (see below): June 4, 2022 19:00 - June 6, 2022 00:00

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT Project PR376_01 (MarkeTrak User Interface Refresh) will be migrated to the ERCOT production environment upon notice of outage completion.

Update to Market Notice  R-A050522-01 Retail:  ERCOT has determined that it will not be necessary to impact Retail Transaction Processing systems from 2pm - 7pm on June 4th, 2022.  This will mitigate manual workarounds noted by Market Participants during Retail Business Hours.  Retail processing systems (below) will be unavailable from June 4, 2022 19:00 - June 6, 2022 00:00 or until notice of outage completion.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT systems will experience service interruptions during the implementation period. The impacts include, but are not limited to:

June 4, 14:00 - June 6, 2022 00:00

  • MarkeTrak will be unavailable for the duration of the extended outage as indicated above.

 

June 4, 19:00 - June 6, 2022 00:00

  • Market Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage. This includes all retail transactions.
  • 867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
  • 997 Functional Acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
  • MarkeTrak will be unavailable for the duration of the outage.
  • Retail Application components of the Market Information System (MIS) and the Retail API will be unavailable during the outage
  • Retail Reports and Extracts may be impacted during the outage timeframe
  • eService application will be unavailable on the MIS
  • Find ESIID and Find Transaction will be unavailable
