SHORT DESCRIPTION: Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC) Testing Timeline Update

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs), Resource Entities (REs)

DAYS AFFECTED: Testing window will end on September 30, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: This is a follow up to the Market Notice (M-B072424-01) posted on July 24, 2024. ERCOT received requests from QSEs to extend the testing time lines to allow additional time to test the recent NDCRC changes delivered to production on August 23, 2024 (M-B082224-01). To accommodate additional NDCRC testing time, allowing parallel operations of submissions of generating unit test requests via both email and NDCRC during September 2024 will be cancelled. Instead, all generating unit test request submissions in September must be made via email in order to allow QSEs to continue to test the NDCRC application through September 30, 2024 at 08:00 AM. Go-Live on October 1, 2024 will remain unchanged, i.e. the NDCRC application will be used as the exclusive means to submit generating unit test requests beginning October 1, 2024. All existing generating unit test request data submitted into NDCRC will be deleted at 10:00 AM on September 30, 2024 in preparation for NDCRC go live on October 1, 2024.
