SHORT DESCRIPTION: Overview of the ERCOT Weatherization and Inspection (W&I) program, highlighting Declaration of Weather Preparedness (DoWP) submissions and the inspection process

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Anyone new to the requirements of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Weather Emergency Preparedness Rule, 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 25.55, or anyone interested in a refresher on weatherization responsibilities in ERCOT.

LONG DESCRIPTION: This online information session will provide participants an overview of ERCOT's W&I program. Topics include:

• PUCT Weather Emergency Preparedness Rule, 16 TAC 25.55 requirements; 
• using the W&I Market Participant Portal;
• submitting a DoWP;
• preparing for a weatherization inspection;
• what to expect before, during, and after an inspection; and
• how ERCOT addresses weatherization deficiencies.
