SHORT DESCRIPTION: RTC+B market trials update for participation in Day-Ahead Market (DAM) by all Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All QSEs
DAYS AFFECTED: September 23, 2025
LONG DESCRIPTION: The market trials activities for the Real-Time Co-optimization plus Batteries (RTC+B) program to date have been focused on QSEs with Resources. ERCOT is now supporting RTC+B DAM activities and all QSEs are invited and encouraged to participate in the RTC+B market trials, especially if active in the current market DAM and/or bilateral trading. The next planned RTC+B DAM occurs Tuesday, September 23, 2025 (for Operating Day September 24, 2025), with more DAM activities planned for September and October.
For QSEs that have not been participating to date in RTC+B market trials and are active in the current DAM, here are the channels with which to engage:
ERCOT will also continue to support questions on the weekly RTC+B market calls and via email using RTCB@ercot.com.
ACTION REQUIRED: All QSEs are encouraged to participate in the market trials for RTC+B DAM, especially if active in the current DAM and trading activities in ERCOT systems.
