DAYS AFFECTED: October 13, 2026 at 1:30 P.M.

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 3, 2022, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) in Project No. 54248 directed the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) to assume the duties of the Reliability Monitor (ERM) defined in 16 Texas Administrative Code Section25.503(k) and (l). On October 13, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., the ERM will hold an in-person informational presentation, with a virtual attendance option, to describe the ERM function and processes and what stakeholders can expect from an ERM investigation. The presentation will take place at ERCOT's Austin location (8000 Metropolis, Building E, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78744). Market Participants are encouraged to attend the informational presentation to learn more about the ERM function. This presentation is provided as a refresher to the training presentation that was provided to Market Participants in July 2023.

Questions during the presentations will be welcome; however, Market Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance by email to: ERM@ercot.com using the subject line: MP Question re ERM Informational Presentation. Questions submitted prior to 5:00 p.m. on September 29, 2026 will be answered during the informational session. The ERM will also post a Q&A log to its webpage below.
