M-A082626-01 DPC Dashboard: Parallel Submissions for Temporary DPCs through DPC Dashboard to begin on September 2, 2026.

NOTICE DATE: August 26, 2026

NOTICE TYPE: M-A082626-01 Operations

SHORT DESCRIPTION: DPC Dashboard: Parallel Submissions for Temporary DPCs through DPC Dashboard to begin on September 2, 2026.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Operators (TOs)

DAYS AFFECTED: September 2nd, 2026 - Ongoing

LONG DESCRIPTION: As previously communicated, ERCOT has introduced a new Downstream Production Change (DPC) Dashboard, a web-based interface that allows Transmission Operators (TOs) to submit Temporary DPC requests and monitor submission status. The DPC Dashboard is accessible from the existing Outage Scheduler portal in the Market Information System (MIS) using current portal credentials.

Beginning September 2, 2026, TOs are requested to submit Temporary DPCs in both NMMS MAGE and the new DPC Dashboard. This is a parallel submission period, not a switchover. NMMS MAGE remains the system of record for Temporary DPCs through September, so there is no change to normal processing during this window. The purpose of this period is to give TOs a low-risk opportunity to become familiar with the new DPC Dashboard, and for ERCOT to confirm that implementation and approval workflow are working as designed before Temporary DPC submissions move to the DPC Dashboard exclusively.

Permanent DPCs are not affected by this change and will continue to be submitted through NMMS exclusively.

Formal Transition: Starting in October 2026 (exact date to be confirmed via a subsequent Market Notice), Temporary DPCs will be submitted only through the DPC Dashboard. NMMS MAGE will no longer be used for Temporary DPC submissions from that point forward.

TOs who have not already done so are requested to work with their User Security Administrator (USA) to request a digital certificate with one of the following DPC Dashboard roles, available on MPIM:

  • DPC_M_OPERATOR - Full access to submit, modify, withdraw, and monitor DPCs.

An updated Transmission Operator User Guide is available to assist TOs in navigating the submission form and DPC Dashboard, including step-by-step instructions, field-level descriptions, validation rules, and a pre-submission checklist.

TOs should direct any feedback on UI issues, workflow questions, or discrepancies identified during the parallel submission period to ERCOTDPCSupport@ercot.com.
