NOTICE DATE: May 11, 2026
NOTICE TYPE: M-A051126-01 Operations
SHORT DESCRIPTION: MOTE Testing - DPC Dashboard - Transmission Operator Testing of DPC Submission Form
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Operators (TOs)
DAYS AFFECTED: May 12, 2026 15:30 to 17:00
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is introducing a new Downstream Production Change (DPC) Dashboard, which is a web-based interface that allows Transmission Operators (TOs) to submit temporary DPC requests and monitor their submission status. The DPC Dashboard is accessible from the existing MOTE Outage Scheduler portal in the Market Information System (MIS) using current portal credentials.
As part of the development process leading up to the production release of the DPC Dashboard, which is targeted for late June 2026, ERCOT is inviting TOs to access the DPC Dashboard in MOTE and submit DPCs using the DPC submission form for testing. This testing period provides an opportunity for TOs to become familiar with the new interface, validate workflows, and provide any feedback that may be incorporated before the production release. No separate registration is required for testing. Testing will be available starting on May 13, 2026.
The following DPC submission types will be available for testing:
- Static Line/Transformers Rating updates - Temporarily update Normal, Emergency, LoadShed, and Relay Loadability (RLR) limits for lines, transformers, or Zero Impedance Branches (ZBRs); and
- Contingencies Enable/Disable updates - Temporarily enable or disable contingencies in the network model.
A Transmission Operator User Guide is attached to assist TOs in navigating to the submission form and DPC Dashboard. The guide includes step-by-step instructions with field-level descriptions, validation rules, and a pre-submission checklist. TOs are encouraged to reference the guide during testing.
TOs should direct any feedback on UI issues, workflow questions, or discrepancies identified during testing to ERCOTDPCSupport@ercot.com. Feedback received during testing will be reviewed and prioritized for resolution prior to the production release.
ACTION REQUIRED: Starting May 13, 2026, TOs are recommended to access the DPC Dashboard to test DPC submission forms and provide feedback to ERCOT.
