SHORT DESCRIPTION: Dashboards and displays affected by beginning of Daylight Saving Time (DST) March 8, 2026

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: March 7-8, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: Some of ERCOT's informational dashboards and displays on ercot.com will be affected by the beginning of Daylight Saving Time (DST) on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

  • The Combined Wind and Solar dashboard line chart will not display the "Solar Gen Hourly Avg" or the "Solar COP HSL" values for the skipped 2:00 a.m. hour or the 3:00 a.m. hour on Sunday, March 8. The same issue will be noticed for the "Solar COP HSL" on the "Next Day" view on Saturday, March 7.
  • The Real-Time Settlement Point Prices display will show a 0200 (2:00 a.m.) interval ending that should instead be labeled 0300 (3:00 a.m.) on Sunday, March 8. The associated data appearing on the incorrectly labeled 0200 line of the chart will be for the 0300 ending interval. The display will also contain a repetition of the 0315 (3:15 a.m.) interval ending values.

ACTION REQUIRED: Users should be aware of possible issues on these dashboards and displays on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8.
