SHORT DESCRIPTION: Potential Price Correction - Incorrect consideration of Reliability Must Run Units for Reliability Deployment Price Adder

DAYS AFFECTED: January 14, 2026 to January 16, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: We have identified an error that impacted the Reliability Deployment Price Adders (RDPAs) for Energy and Ancillary Services, affecting multiple Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch intervals on Operating Days January 14, 2026 through January 16, 2026. A software defect excluded On-Line Reliability Must Run Resources from triggering the calculation of RDPAs. We deployed a software fix to correct the defect on January 17, 2026.

These Operating Days are part of a separate potential price correction affecting December 17, 2025 to January 29, 2026. See Market Notice M-A020526-01 for more information.

Under ERCOT Protocol Section 6.3(7)(a), we must notify Market Participants within 30 days of an Operating Day if we determine that prices meet the criteria for correction and ERCOT Board review. This Market Notice preserves the eligibility of the ERCOT Board to review prices for the affected Operating Days that are within 30 days of this notice.

We continue to investigate the impact on Real-Time Market prices. We will issue a follow-up Market Notice with the results of our analysis and whether we will seek ERCOT Board review.
