SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Securitization Uplift Charge Daily Amount (SUCDA) to calculate Securitization Uplift Charges

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: August 1, 2022 and thereafter

LONG DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Debt Obligation Order issued by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) in PUC Docket No. 52322, Application of Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. for a Debt Obligation Order Pursuant to Chapter 39, Subchapter N, of the Public Utility Regulatory Act, and Section 27 of the ERCOT Protocols, ERCOT will issue the first invoices containing Securitization Uplift Charges on August 1, 2022.

Per paragraph (2) of Protocols Section 27.3, ERCOT, as servicer of the bonds issued under Subchapter N of PURA Chapter 39, is required to at least quarterly evaluate the SUCDA to determine the charge amount for periodic billing requirements. Under Protocols Section 27.3(3), ERCOT will issue a Market Notice notifying Market Participants of the daily charge amount no later than 15 days before the Operating Day in which the new SUCDA will be used to calculate Securitization Uplift Charges.

The initial SUCDA is $446,702.

The SUCDA will be used in the calculation of the Securitization Uplift Charge beginning with Operating Day July 27, 2022, the Invoice for which will be issued on August 1, 2022. In addition, the updated SUCDA will be used in the calculation of Securitization Uplift Charge Initial Invoice Escrow Deposits beginning on August 5, 2022. Securitization Uplift Charge Reallocation Invoices will be issued starting on September 20, 2022.
