SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update to the Generic Limits for the Nelson Sharpe - Rio Hondo, North Edinburg - Lobo and Valley Export GTCs

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION: Based on the results of the Quarterly Stability Assessment (QSA) for Q4 of 2021, performed pursuant to Planning Guide Section 5.9 Quarterly Stability Assessment, ERCOT has identified updates to the Generic Transmission Constraints (GTC) in the Nelson Sharpe - Rio Hondo, North Edinburg – Lobo and Valley Export GTC. These updates result from the installation of new Generation Resources in the region.

The purpose of this notice is to provide contemporaneous notification to all ERCOT Market Participants of this update to the Nelson Sharpe - Rio Hondo, North Edinburg – Lobo and Valley Export GTC. ERCOT will begin enforcing the updated limits for these GTCs on December 2, 2021.

Details associated with all GTCs (EMIL ID NP3-770-M , Report ID 11425 ) can be found on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Grid Transmission page under the Generic Transmission Constraints Methodology Secured Area. A Digital Certificate with role ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII is required to access this ECEII data.
