SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR1335, Implementation of PUCT Changes to Firm Fuel Supply Service for Phase 3

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 5, 2026, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) in Project No. 54445 approved Nodal Protocols Revision Request (NPRR) 1335, Implementation of PUCT Changes to Firm Fuel Supply Service for Phase 3, to become effective on November 6, 2026.  Accordingly, Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) representing Firm Fuel Supply Service (FFSS) Resources (FFSSRs) and the Resource Entities that own such FFSSRs for the upcoming FFSS Obligation Period that begins on November 15, 2026 must comply with all such requirements.

ERCOT's notice to the PUCT of the implementation of NPRR1335 was filed on November 5, 2025 in PUCT Project 24055.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: On February 25, 2026, the PUCT's rule governing FFSS, 16 Texas Administrative Code Section 25.520, went into effect and is the authority under which ERCOT issued the Request for Proposal and procured FFSSRs for this FFSS Obligation Period.  NPRR1335 incorporates the PUCT's FFSS rule requirements into the Protocols.
