SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation of Market-facing changes for January 29, 2026

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: January 29, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT systems may experience intermittent service interruptions during the implementation period. The systems include, but are not limited to:

• Components of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS), including:
• Report publishing to the MIS
• Downloading of extracts and reports from MIS and External Web Services (EWS)
• ERCOT.com dashboards and displays
• Market Participant Identity Management (MPIM)
• Market submissions and requests via Web Services, Market Manager, and Outage Scheduler
• Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC)
• ERCOT Interconnection Services (RIOO) - https://sa.ercot.com/rioo-rs/
• Current Day Report (CDR) report publishing and downloading, which may cause the following reports to be unavailable:
• SCED and RTD Reports
• NSA Active and Inactive Constraint Reports
• State Estimator Reports
• Real-Time Dynamic Rating Data Reports
• Wind Power Production - Actual 5-Minute Averaged Values
• Solar Power Production - Actual 5-Minute Averaged Values
• SOL Exceedance report

In preparation for the January 29, 2026, Production implementation of 2026 R1 release changes, the ERCOT Market Operations Testing Environment (MOTE) will be available for testing submission changes related to RTC+B beginning from January 19, 2026.

ACTION REQUIRED: It is recommended that Market Participants test 2026 R1 MMS submission related changes in MOTE prior to 2026 R1 go-live on January 29, 2026.
