SHORT DESCRIPTION: Upgrade to the email subscription service, LISTSERV. Action required. 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: January 15, 2026, 17:00-19:00

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is upgrading the email subscription service used for sending Market Notices, committee/sub-committee communications, media notifications, and grid condition notifications. This version upgrade of the LISTSERV application will provide improved user security.

This upgrade will be released January 15, 2026. As part of this upgrade, all users that have previously logged in to the LISTSERV application will need to change their password the next time they login. This is a one-time forced change to the user's password. No action is required for users that have not previously used the application. Communications list membership will not be impacted as a result.

Users should expect the application to be offline during the upgrade.

ACTION REQUIRED: Subscribers that have previously logged in to the LISTSERV application will need to change their password the next time they login after the upgrade is completed.
