SHORT DESCRIPTION: RTC+B: ERCOT API/XML Interface Listener Setup for QSEs without Resources

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) without Resources using the ERCOT API/XML interface

DAYS AFFECTED: December 5, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: At the midnight cutover going into December 5, 2025, ERCOT will change the end-point for any applications that use the ERCOT API/XML interface.  QSEs without Resources opting to use the ERCOT API/XML interface must provide a Notification Listener URL Template for RTCB Production Environment for the new Real-Time Co-optimization Plus Batteries (RTC+B) environment in order to continue to receive notifications.  

ACTION REQUIRED: QSEs without Resources are not required to use the ERCOT API/XML interface.  However, if a QSE chooses to use the ERCOT API/XML interface for Market Management System (MMS) submissions or web services, please provide the Notification Listener URL Template for RTCB Production Environment.  

A template is attached to this notice and is also located on to the ERCOT website: NOTIFICATION LISTENER URL TEMPLATE.  Return the completed form to your ERCOT Client Services Account Manager and include an Authorized Representative in the submission email to support validation. 

If you do not use the ERCOT API/XML interface no action is needed.  Please verify internally if your organization uses the ERCOT API/XML interface.    

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: QSEs must provide the completed Notification Listener URL Template for RTCB Production Environment to ERCOT Client Services for set up. ERCOT resources will not be available to provide any existing QSE Listener set up information for current systems.  Similarly, ERCOT will not add any existing production QSE Listener information from the current environment.
