SHORT DESCRIPTION: Reliability analysis determination for Blue Summit Storage LLC  Battery (BLSUMMIT_ESR1)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: February 19, 2027

LONG DESCRIPTION: On September 21, 2026, ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

• Blue Summit Storage LLC (BLSUMMIT_ESR1)

The NSO indicated that, as of February 19, 2027, the Generation Resource will decommission and retire permanently for a reason other than a Forced Outage. The NSO further stated that the Generation Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 30 MW and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of -30 MW.

Pursuant to requirements under ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.2 (3), ERCOT is issuing a determination that this Generation Resource is not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability and may decommission and retire permanently according to the schedule in the NSO.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT has posted the analysis performed to arrive at its determination on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area. An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
