SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for Blue Summit Storage LLC (BLSUMMIT_ESR1)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: Comments Due October 12, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: On September 21, 2026, ERCOT received a NSO for the following Generation Resource:

• Blue Summit Storage LLC (BLSUMMIT_ESR1)

The NSO indicates that, as of February 19, 2027, the Generation Resource will be decommissioned and retired permanently for a reason other than a forced outage. The NSO further indicates that the Generation Resource has a Summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 30 MW and a Summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of -30 MW. 

Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(1), ERCOT has posted the NSO on the ERCOT website, where NSOs may be accessed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please send any comments you may have regarding the NSO to RMRcomments@ercot.com, with "Blue Summit Storage LLC (BLSUMMIT_ESR1) NSO" in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than October 12, 2026. All comments will be posted to the Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
