LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is hosting a third joint Real-Time Co-optimization Plus Batteries Task Force (RTCBTF) and Technology Working Group (TWG) workshop to discuss details of the RTC+B Closed-Loop Load Frequency Control (LFC) testing that will occur on September 11, 2025.  ERCOT has reviewed and published the RTC+B Closed- Loop LFC Test Handbook in coordination with the RTCBTF and is conducting a third dedicated workshop for QSE Operators, IT staff, and vendors to review details of the handbook and address any questions regarding the test plan.  This particular session will focus on additional timeline details and communications of information leading up to and through the LFC test. 

As a reminder, the Closed-Loop LFC test will require the ERCOT Control Room and all QSEs with Resources to follow RTC+B's Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch (RTC-SCED) as the production Dispatch Instructions for approximately two hours.  This test will require accurate production-level telemetry for all Resources as well as Real-Time offer submission behavior to execute a successful and reliable test in order to ensure that frequency control can be maintained with the new systems ahead of the December 5, 2025 go-live of the RTC+B program.  

The third joint workshop will be a WebEx- only meeting on September 4, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
