LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is hosting a second joint Real-Time Co-optimization Plus Batteries Task Force (RTCBTF) and Technology Working Group (TWG) workshop to discuss details of the RTC+B Closed-Loop Load Frequency Control (LFC) testing that will occur on September 11, 2025.  ERCOT has reviewed and published the RTC+B Closed- Loop LFC Test Handbook in coordination with the RTCBTF and is conducting a dedicated workshop for QSE Operators, IT staff, and vendors to review details of the handbook and address any questions regarding the test plan.  As a reminder, the Closed-Loop LFC test will require the ERCOT Control Room and all QSEs with Resources to follow RTC+B's Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch (RTC-SCED) as the production Dispatch Instructions for approximately two hours.  This test will require accurate production-level telemetry for all Resources as well as Real-Time offer submission behavior to execute a successful and reliable test in order to ensure that frequency control can be maintained with the new systems ahead of the December 5, 2025 go-live of the RTC+B program.

The joint workshop will be a hybrid meeting (conducted in-person and on WebEx) on August 19, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
