SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for Goat Wind LLC (GOAT_GOATWIN2, GOAT_GOATWIND)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: Comments Due July 4, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: On June 13, 2025, ERCOT received a NSO for the following Generation Resources:

• Goat Wind LLC (GOAT_GOATWIN2, GOAT_GOATWIND)

The NSO indicates that the Generation Resources will temporarily suspend operation (i.e., mothball) of the Generation Resources for a period of not less than 6 months and not greater than 13 months due to some reason other than a Forced Outage. The NSO further indicates that the Generation Resources have a combined Summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 149.6 MWs and a combined Summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 149.6 MWs. 

Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(1), ERCOT has posted the NSO on the ERCOT website, where NSOs may be accessed. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please send any comments you may have regarding the NSO to RMRcomments@ercot.com, with "Goat Wind LLC (GOAT_GOATWIN2, GOAT_GOATWIND) NSO" in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than July 4, 2025.  All comments will be posted to the Generation  page of the MIS Secure Area.
