LONG DESCRIPTION: As required by Section 5.3.5 of the Planning Guide, ERCOT conducts a Quarterly Stability Assessment (QSA) every three months. This assessment evaluates the stability impact of all new large generators and generator modifications and all new Large Loads and Load modifications that are expected to energize within a specified three-month window.
Section 9.6 of the Planning Guide requires all new or modified Large Loads to be included in a QSA to be eligible for Initial Energization. To ensure each eligible Large Load is included in the QSA assessment cycle that corresponds to the Load's desired Initial Energization date, the Interconnecting TSP must submit all required information by the deadline specified in Planning Guide Section 5.3.5(2), as shown in the table below. This information includes the DWG Large Load Survey and corresponding dynamic model for all Large Computational Loads seeking Initial Energization in the indicated period.
