SHORT DESCRIPTION: RFP for NWS ERS-30 and NWS ERS-10 for the SCT of April 1, 2026, through May 31, 2026

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)

DAYS AFFECTED: February 27, 2026; March 9, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Emergency Response Service (ERS) for the Standard Contract Term (SCT) of April 1, 2026, through May 31, 2026. This RFP seeks participants for Non-Weather-Sensitive ERS-30 (NWS ERS-30) and Non-Weather-Sensitive ERS-10 (NWS ERS-10).

ERS Resource Identification (ERID) information is due to ERCOT no later than February 27, 2026. Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due March 9, 2026.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT will communicate awarded offers to QSEs no later than March 20, 2026. An ERS Procurement Summary will be posted to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) prior to the start of the SCT.
