SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partial Implementation of NPRR964

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: December 23, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: On December 23, 2021, the remainder of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 964, Improvement of RMR Process and Removal of Synchronous Condenser Unit and Agreement, will be implemented.

The remainder of NPRR964 modifies Protocol Section 3.14.1.2.1, ERCOT Evaluation of Seasonal Mothball Status, to be consistent with Section 3.14.1.2, ERCOT Evaluation Process, which was modified by NPRR862, Updates to Address Revisions under PUCT Project 46369.

In addition, the NSO Studies - Initial Determination Analysis (EMIL ID NP3-556-M, Report Type ID 11417) Market Information System (MIS) report link will be removed, and the NSO Studies - Final Determination Analysis (EMIL ID NP3-511-M, Report Type ID 11415) link will be renamed as NSO Studies - Determination Analysis.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
