SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT to Expand Texas Advisory and Notification System; Migrate Current Email Subscribers to New Platform

LONG DESCRIPTION: On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, current subscribers to ERCOT's Texas Advisory and Notification System (TXANS) email list will be automatically migrated from the LISTSERV platform to Regroup, a cloud-based notification platform. No action will be needed on the part of subscribers. Current subscribers will receive an email once the migration is complete.

This change in platform is designed to increase the speed of message delivery and provide the public with a comprehensive source for grid notifications. The TXANS suite of notifications has been expanded to include all three levels of Energy Emergency Alerts (EEAs), along with ERCOT Weather Watches, Voluntary Conservation Notices, and Conservation Appeals. ERCOT will continue to post Operations Messages and Market Notices to ERCOT.com.

Email subscribers will also be able to opt in to receive notifications by text message.

Beginning Tuesday, November 10, current TXANS subscribers can update their contact information and notification preferences (email, text, or both) and new subscribers can join by visiting https://www.ercot.com/txans.

TXANS emails and text messages will be sent in English and Spanish.
