SHORT DESCRIPTION: Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC) API access for QSE test request submissions

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities with NDCRC access

DAYS AFFECTED: November 5-13, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: NDCRC API access to support the programmatic submission of QSE Test Requests to ERCOT will enter market testing (MOTE) on November 5, 2026, and go live in production on November 13, 2026. The existing web application interface will remain live, so migrating to the API for any QSE with existing NDCRC access is completely optional. No new credentials are needed to authenticate using the API -- the same QSE user certificates that are compatible with the existing web application are all that are required.

ACTION REQUIRED: If your organization is interested in performing market testing, please contact your ERCOT Account Manager to request a copy of the NDCRC API Quickstart guide for further instructions on receiving access.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Digital certificates with the QSE_W or QSE_R roles can be requested through your organization's User Security Administrator (USA) and are required for access in their respective environments. (Market testing certificates cannot be used in production, and production certificates cannot be used for market testing.)
