SHORT DESCRIPTION: Window to submit Declarations of Weather Preparedness (DoWP) via the ERCOT Weatherization & Inspection Market Participant Portal (Portal) is November 1 - December 1, 2025
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Authorized Representative (AR), Backup Authorized Representative (BAR), User Security Administrator (USA), and others involved in the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) Weather Emergency Preparedness Rule, 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 25.55, compliance activities for Generation Entities (GEs) and Transmission Service Providers (TSPs).
DAYS AFFECTED: Saturday, November 1, 2025 to Monday, December 1, 2025
LONG DESCRIPTION: GEs and TSPs must submit DoWPs to ERCOT through the Portal between November 1, 2025 and December 1, 2025.
ACTION REQUIRED: The GE or TSP USA coordinates access to the Portal. Each TSP and GE representative who performs any portion of the DoWP submission process in the Portal, including preparing Appendix A, uploading the Notarized Attestation, or attaching associated documents, must have a digital certificate with the manager role assignment, SN_M_W_MGR_ECEII.
