SHORT DESCRIPTION: Impacts to SCED due to Incorrect Meter Data

DAYS AFFECTED: September 2, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has determined that a portion of the network model in the Market Management System (MMS) did not update properly following a scheduled database load at the beginning of Operating Day (OD) September 2, 2026. As a result, the MMS network model was missing multiple meters that should have been included in that database load. ERCOT corrected the MMS network model at 13:22 on the same Operating Day. Therefore, for the period of 00:00 - 13:22, Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) did not correctly calculate Real-Time Resource Meter Prices (RTRMPRs) for the affected meters.

ERCOT cannot accurately recreate the missing Electrical Bus shift factors needed to recalculate the affected SCED prices. Therefore, ERCOT cannot correct prices for OD September 2, 2026, pursuant to Nodal Protocols Section 6.3(4)
