SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partial Implementation Details of NOGRR255, High Resolution Data Requirements

DAYS AFFECTED: August 1, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 1, 2026, Nodal Operating Guide language associated with Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 255, High Resolution Data Requirements, will be partially implemented.

NOGRR255 establishes high resolution data requirements.  

Specifically, language in the following Sections will be implemented:

• Paragraph (2) of Section 6.1.2.2, Fault Recording and Sequence of Events Recording Equipment Location Requirements  
• Paragraph (2) of Section 6.1.3.2.2, Phasor Measurement Unit Location Requirements

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In accordance with Nodal Operating Guide Section 1.3.5, Nodal Operating Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT provides notice as soon as practicable but no later than ten days prior to implementation.

NOGRR255 and associated documents can be found on the ERCOT website.
