SHORT DESCRIPTION: This Market Notice describes the value of the Mitigated Offer Cap (MOC) set for the Braunig 3 RMR Resource

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: July 16, 2026 until end of RMR Contract or changed by ERCOT

LONG DESCRIPTION: For each Reliability Must-Run (RMR) Unit contracted by ERCOT under Section 3.14.1, Reliability Must Run, in consideration of the Shadow Price caps of the transmission constraints which the RMR Unit may be required to resolve and variations in transmission system topology, ERCOT shall set the Mitigated Offer Cap (MOC) curve equal to the highest value (in $/MWh) that is expected to allow SCED to dispatch the RMR Unit.  The MOC curve may be modified by ERCOT to ensure that the RMR Unit is dispatched by SCED to help resolve transmission congestion in Real-Time or to allow the RMR Unit to be dispatched by SCED after other Resources. This change in the MOC is due to the recent approval of NPRR 1330.

For the Braunig 3 RMR Resource, ERCOT shall set the MOC at a price of $1901.10/MWh.
