SHORT DESCRIPTION: Completion of Annual Constraint Management Plans Review

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Operators and/or Resource Entities with Transmission Facilities

DAYS AFFECTED: June 1, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: As of June 1, 2026, ERCOT completed its annual review of Constraint Management Plans (CMPs) which includes Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Mitigation Plans (MPs), Pre-Contingency Action Plans (PCAPs), and Automatic Mitigation Plans (AMPs). Over 100 CMP proposals (including existing plans and new proposals) were evaluated. Some Mitigation Plans (MPs) require further analysis and coordination with multiple TOs. 

There was one PCAP added, one PCAP removed, one on-shelf PCAP removed, three PCAPs withdrawn, and no RAPs added.

ERCOT is adding PCAP_2026_03 Ballinger 138 69 TR1.

ERCOT is removing PCAP_2010_02 Big Hill - Orsted - Edison - Kendall 345kV Double Circuit, and On_SHELF_PCAP_2025_01 Contingency loss of CKT_974 Austrop to Daffin Gin.

PCAP_LCRA BAKERSFIELD 6965_A overload, PCAP LCRA DBAKCED5 HARGRO_TWINBU overload, and PCAP_AEN_AU_DG_2026 were withdrawn by the proposers after discussions with ERCOT.

All approved CMPs are available in the Approved Constraint Management Plans (CMPs) (EMIL ID NP3-59-M, Report ID 13021) on the Market Information System (MIS) website. A digital certificate is needed to access the secure report.
