SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partial Implementation Details of NPRR1234, Interconnection Requirements for Large Loads and Modeling Standards for Loads 25 MW or Greater

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  July 21, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On July 21, 2025, Protocol language associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 1234, Interconnection Requirements for Large Loads and Modeling Standards for Loads 25 MW or Greater, will be partially implemented. 

NPRR1234 establishes interconnection and modeling requirements for Large Loads.

Paragraphs (14) through (19) of Section 3.10.7.2, Modeling of Resources and Transmission Loads, will be implemented.

The remainder of NPRR1234 will be implemented at a later date.

Information related to the collection of the information required by paragraphs (14) through (19) of Section 3.10.7.2 from Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) and Resource Entities can be found in Market Notice M-A052125-03.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  In accordance with Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT provides notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
