SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Reliability analysis determination for Chisholm Grid LLC (CHISMGRD_BES1, CHISMGRD_LD1)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  May 1, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On April 20, 2025, ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

• Chisholm Grid LLC (CHISMGRD_BES1, CHISMGRD_LD1)

The NSO indicated that the Generation Resource will temporarily suspend operation for a period of not less than 20 months and not greater than 32 months due to some reason other than a Forced Outage, as of May 1, 2026. The NSO further stated that the Generation Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 101.7 MW and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 0 MW.

Pursuant to requirements under ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.2 (3), ERCOT is issuing an initial determination that the Generation Resource is not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability and may suspend operations according to the schedule in the NSO.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT has posted the analysis performed to arrive at its determination on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area. An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
