SHORT DESCRIPTION: Updates to ADER Pilot Participation Limits

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: March 2, 2026 onward

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is increasing the limits to participation under the Aggregate Distributed Energy Resource (ADER) Pilot.  The ADER Pilot Governing Document gives ERCOT the discretion to increase participation limits as and when registered capacity is approaching current limits due to participation growth.  Accordingly, ERCOT is increasing the participation limits as follows:

- The Registered Capacity Limit (MW) will increase from 200 MW to 500 MW

- The Ancillary Service Limit (MW) will remain unchanged at 100 MW

- The Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) Limit (%) will increase from 50% to 90%

These updated limits will be reflected in redline edits to the ADER Pilot Governing Document.
