NOTICE DATE: February 12, 2026

NOTICE TYPE: M-A021226-01 Operations

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Review of end-use industry classification for Load Points meeting the criteria in paragraphs (15)(c) and (17)(c) of Protocol Section 3.10.7.2, Modeling of Resources and Transmission Loads

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) and Resource Entities associated with Private Use Networks

DAYS AFFECTED: April 1, 2026

LONG DESCRIPTION: Per Nodal Protocol 3.10.7.2 (15)(c), each TSP shall identify "Load Points," as that term is defined in paragraph (7) of Nodal Protocol 3.10.7.2, that achieve a peak Demand of 25 MW or greater as defined by 3.10.7.2(14)(a)-(d), on or after January 1, 2025 in the Network Operations Model on or before April 1 of the next calendar year after the peak Demand reached 25 MW via a spreadsheet NOMCR.

For TSPs, an extract of all Load Points has been created and posted to the Network Model Management System (NMMS) Citrix Postings folder. TSPs must review the extract and input/update the end-use industry classification for their Load Points meeting the criteria in paragraph (15)(c) of Protocol Section 3.10.7.2. An Information Change Request(ICR) with a description of "Review of end-use industry classification for Load Points_TSP Name" must be submitted by each TSP with the modified extract attached on or before April 1, 2026 with a requested Production Load Date of April 22, 2026. Further details have been sent via an email to the Network Data Support Working Group List Serve.

Per Nodal Protocol 3.10.7.2 (17)(c), Resource Entities associated with Private Use Networks or co-located Large Loads with an operational co-located Load that achieves a peak Demand of 25 MW or greater on or after January 1, 2025 shall be provided via an update to the Resource Registration data within three months from the date the peak Demand reaches 25 MW.

Resource Entities associated with Private Use Networks or co-located Large Loads are provided with a pre-populated form containing their associated Load Points posted to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (ECEII) Requested Information folder as a courtesy. A valid Digital Certificate with the ECEII role assigned is required to access this information on the MIS. Applicable Resource Entities with an operational co-located Load meeting the criteria in paragraph (17)(c) of Protocol Section 3.10.7.2 shall provide an update by submitting a Standard RSCR with a description of "Review of end-use industry classification for Load Points" in the RIOO RS application.

Questions related to the submission process can be sent to NetworkModelCoordinators@ercot.com.
